Rodion Schtschedrins „The sealed Angel” (op. 75 (1988) is a milestone in Russian sacred choral music of the 20th century and at the same time an appeal to freedom. Picknickdecken-Konzert

Gilbert Paeffgen Percussion and Dulcimer
Matthias Ziegler Flutes

In the park of Villa Séquin, a warm summer evening becomes an unforgettable concert experience: flautist Matthias Ziegler and versatile percussionist and dulcimer player Gilbert Paeffgen create a world of sound that playfully combines tradition and modernity. Both are known for their musical spirit of discovery and always surprise their audience with new sound colours and virtuoso interplay.

In the relaxed open-air atmosphere, listeners can enjoy the music at their leisure – on a picnic blanket in the grass or on one of the benches provided. So pack your picnic basket, make yourself comfortable and let yourself be enchanted by the harmony of nature and music. A summer evening in the park of Villa Séquin that poetically dissolves the boundaries of the classical concert stage and promises a unique experience.
